How do I qualify for the KVT Yield?

To be eligible for the KVT Yield, all you need to do is hold KVT in your Kinesis account or any wallet linked to it. Owning the Kinesis Velocity Token (KVT) automatically entitles its holder to a 20% proportionate share of all global transaction fees taken across the entire Kinesis Monetary System.

How is my KVT Yield calculated?

With the Kinesis Velocity Token (KVT) limited to 300,000 in circulation, the yield is shared equally between all KVT holders, in proportion to how much KVT they own.To calculate the exact amount of KVT Yield, Kinesis totals the value of all KAU and KAG accrued in the KVT Yield Pool each month, and then proportionally divides between KVT holders.

How long do I need to hold my KVTs to receive the KVT Yield payment?

There is no time limit set on how long you should own your KVT. The only requirement is that you have acquired it before any of the monthly KVT Yield calculation deadlines.Your earned yield accrued in the previous month will be paid in the first week of each following month, proportionally into your Kinesis KAU and KAG accounts. You can keep track of all your yields via the dedicated Yields dashboard on the Kinesis platform.

Can I earn more than one yield?

Yes. You can earn multiple yields, as long as you follow their specific eligibility guidelines. Kinesis gives back more than half of all transaction fees to our users every month – with all yields paid in gold and silver.Find out more about the innovative Kinesis Yield System here.

Do I need to hold KVTs in my account to receive yields?

Holding your assets in your Kinesis account is not essential to receive a yield. Your KVTs held in external wallets are also applicable for the KVT Yield, as long as they are linked to your Kinesis account.Although the vast majority of KVT holders are not required to take action, we still urge all Kinesis users to ensure that all their external wallets are listed in the address-linking widget, in the Yields tab on the Kinesis platform.We would like to emphasise that KVTs held within unlinked external wallets will not be included in calculations towards the yield, as Kinesis won’t be able to identify unlisted addresses.Comprehensive KVT address linking walkthroughs for different types of external wallets can be found here.You can also move your externally held KVTs into the Kinesis account, as described here.
