1. How to set up your Kinesis Money account
STEP 1
Sign up for an account
Create your login credentials by entering your email address along with a secure password.
Agree to the Kinesis terms and conditions by checking the boxes and complete the captcha verification, then click the “Create My Account” button.
STEP 2
Email Verification
Upon completing the previous step to create your account, you will receive an email requesting you to verify your email address by simply pressing the button.
Once you verify your email you can begin depositing cryptocurrencies and start trading crypto trading pairs.
STEP 3
Log in
Congratulations, you have now successfully created a Kinesis Money account.
You will then be redirected back to the Kinesis login page where you can log in using the email address and password you created previously.
Please note: If you have previously purchased a KVT, during the public sale, you will be automatically verified under the same email address used for purchase.
Once you log in, you will be taken to your “Accounts” tab.
This interface will allow you to check your balance, deposit funds and transfer digital currencies.
2. What is the “Accounts” interface, what is it used for?
The “Accounts” tab is an interface within the Kinesis Money platform which houses all of your digital assets. This includes Kinesis currencies, cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies.
Using this interface, users have the ability to deposit and withdraw a wide range of currency options including, USD, EUR, GBP, ETH, BTC, LTC, USDT, KAU, KAG and KVT, with more being added in the future.
3. What is the “Wallet”, what is it used for?
The “Wallet” interface acts as an additional layer of security for the storage of Kinesis currencies, KAU and KAG which utilises the power of distributed ledger technology through the Kinesis Blockchain Network. Users can send and receive from their Wallet to other addresses; however, usability is limited to only KAU and KAG Kinesis currencies.
The Kinesis Wallet is suitable for users who intend to hold large amounts of Kinesis currencies, KAU and KAG for a long period of time.
4. How to set up your “Wallet”
STEP 1
Creating an eWallet
The first step in this process is setting up a wallet to hold these digital currencies, known as an eWallet.
1. Login to your Kinesis Money Account.
2. Once logged in, navigate to the “Wallet” tab from the left-hand navigation panel
3. Click the “Activate Now” button to initiate the creation of your Kinesis Wallet.
STEP 2
Select the “Create A New Wallet” option.
You will then be presented with your recovery phrase which you will need to record securely as this is required later on.
Read the terms of use and check the tick boxes to confirm you are happy to proceed.
Click “I have Saved My Recovery Phrase” once you are happy to proceed with the wallet creation.
To verify your recovery phrase, enter the missing words from the phrase you recorded previously.
When you are happy to proceed click “Verify”.
You will be asked to tick the checkboxes on the screen to confirm you understand the importance of keeping your recovery phrase securely stored.
Click “Continue” when you are happy to proceed.
Your new Kinesis Wallet is now ready for you to use and securely store your Kinesis Currencies, KAU and KAG.
5. How to set up 2FA
We recommend setting up 2-factor authentication (2FA) on your account to ensure maximum security on your account.
2 Factor Authentication is a security process in which the user provides two different authentication factors to verify themselves to better protect both the user’s credentials and the user’s assets.
1) To set up 2 FA navigate to the settings page by clicking on the settings icon in the bottom left corner of the platform.
2) You may then proceed to the Security tab, scroll down to the Two Factor Authentication section and click “SETUP”.
3) Scan the QR code which is generated using the Google Authenticator app on your device and enter the code generated.
Please note: The QR code displayed is an example only, your own unique QR code will reside in your Kinesis Money account.
