Daniel Diaz

Daniel Diaz is the Executive Director of Citizens for Sound Money (C4SM), a leading advocacy organisation dedicated to restoring sound money principles in the United States. He is also CEO and co-founder of Mining Life LLC, based in Florida, which focuses on sustainable precious metals mining.

As a first-generation Cuban American, Daniel’s commitment to financial freedom is deeply personal, shaped by his family’s experiences with economic instability and government overreach in Cuba. These formative experiences fuel his passion for promoting policies that safeguard individual liberties through sound monetary systems.

With a background as a stockbroker and financial advisor, Daniel has a comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape. Initially sceptical about cryptocurrencies, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to explore blockchain technology and digital assets. Recognising their potential to revolutionise finance and enhance personal and political freedom, he embraced these innovations as tools for advancing sound money principles.

At C4SM, Daniel oversees all operations, strategic partnerships, and advocacy programmes. He leads legislative efforts to make gold and silver legal tender in various states, including Florida, Missouri, and South Carolina. His work also involves promoting the establishment of state precious metals depositories and advancing the adoption of Asset-Backed Digital Currencies (ABDCs), which combine the stability of tangible assets with the efficiency of digital transactions.

Daniel’s leadership extends to managing the Economic Freedom PAC, which supports candidates and initiatives aligned with sound money policies. He is a frequent speaker on topics such as sound money, blockchain technology, and political advocacy, sharing his insights at conferences and through media appearances.
