The token then drew the attention of Elon Musk, who adopted the token in his social media posts by creating memes and tweeting regularly about Dogecoin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since then, DOGE has retained its status as one of the most widely recognisable assets in the industry despite its status as a parody \u2018meme\u2019 token.
