{"id":147923,"date":"2025-03-03T15:06:34","date_gmt":"2025-03-03T15:06:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/?p=147923"},"modified":"2026-02-19T14:08:18","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T14:08:18","slug":"kinesis-minting-programme-launch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/nl\/novedades-de-compania\/kinesis-minting-programme-launch\/","title":{"rendered":"Kinesis launches the Kinesis Minting Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Effective period: 12th June&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kinesis Minting Programme \u2013 Pause Notification<\/strong><br>Effective from&nbsp;<strong>Saturday, 12th July 00:00 (UTC)<\/strong>, the Kinesis Minting Programme (KMP) is paused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon the programme\u2019s resumption, all Monthly Tier Eligibility Criteria activity will be carried over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kinesis will notify users via email once the KMP is reactivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Kinesis is launching the Kinesis Minting Programme (KMP)<strong>,<\/strong> a rewarding new initiative enabling participants to accumulate gold (KAU) as they mint cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme, as outlined in the <a href=\"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/kinesis-minting-programme-terms-conditions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KMP Terms and Conditions<\/a> enables long-term KVT holders and qualifying minters to <strong>earn 0.02% in gold (KAU) <\/strong>on each mint cycle, with<strong> standard minting costs rebated<\/strong> by Kinesis*. Gold rewards and cost rebates will be paid into the minter\u2019s Kinesis account on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kinesis Minting Programme will launch at <strong>00:00 (UTC) on Tuesday 4th March<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the core of the KMP is <a href=\"https:\/\/kinesissupport.zendesk.com\/hc\/en-gb\/articles\/12439199819549-How-to-Mint-Cycle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mint cycling<\/a>, the process where users mint gold (KAU), sell it on the Kinesis Exchange and repeat the cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Building on the success of previous minting initiatives, the KMP is designed to stimulate repeated, high-volume engagement in the Kinesis platform. With each minter incentivised to cycle substantial volumes through the platform in a single day, the scale of transactional activity the KMP could generate becomes clear.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is not just the minters of Kinesis who stand to benefit from the KMP. Kinesis has activated the KMP to catalyse the Kinesis yield engine. As minters capitalise on this unique opportunity, overall transaction volume is expected to rise, significantly boosting the yields across the platform. As is the Kinesis way, the impact of the KMP will be felt by every last user of the Kinesis Monetary System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-benefits-of-the-kinesis-minting-programme\">Key Benefits of the Kinesis Minting Programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants <strong>earn 2 basis points (0.02%) gold (KAU)<\/strong> for completed mint cycle*, providing an additional reward on top of the existing benefits of minting.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-rebated-fees-breakdown\">Rebated Fees Breakdown:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the KMP, participants are rebated for the following fees**:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mint trade execution fee:<\/strong><strong> (0.45%): <\/strong>charged when minting gold (KAU).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Minting\/Exchange spread ($0.20):<\/strong> represents the difference between the Ask in the Kinesis Mint and Bid in the Kinesis Exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trade execution fee (0.22%):<\/strong> applied when selling gold (KAU) for USD on the Kinesis Exchange.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-payout-schedule\">Payout schedule<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gold rewards and rebates are settled weekly.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each week, gold (KAU) rewards and fee rebates will be accumulated from <strong>Monday at 00:00 (UTC)<\/strong> to <strong>the following Sunday<\/strong> <strong>23:59:59 (UTC)<\/strong>.<br><br>Gold reward and rebates will be paid out into the minter\u2019s Kinesis account weekly, each <strong>Tuesday<\/strong>, going forward.<br><br>The first payout date will be Tuesday 11th March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>**In a flat market, where a mint cycle is conducted without market movement with sufficient market liquidity. As part of the KMP,&nbsp; participants will receive a refund of minting costs along with an additional 0.02% reward, resulting in a net benefit of approximately 2 basis points, less the $5 fixed withdrawal fee. Returns are calculated based on prevailing fees and spreads and are subject to market fluctuations.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-maximising-monthly-yields-through-mint-cycling\">Maximising Monthly Yields through Mint Cycling<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The more volume Kinesis users mint, the greater their share of the yields each month. Mint cycling is a powerful way for users to increase their proportionate share of the yield fee pool and their monthly yields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Minter&#8217;s Yield (5%)<\/strong>: Each minting cycle generates more transaction volume, increasing a minter\u2019s lifetime share of this yield.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Velocity Yield (10%)<\/strong>: Each time a user sells their minted gold or silver, they activate the Velocity Yield. Therefore, mint cycling allows participants to secure a greater share of the Velocity Yield, which rewards users based on the volume they generate, in relation to system-wide transactional volume.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;With fewer participants in this initial phase, minters can secure a greater proportional share of the fee pools. Participants have the opportunity to secure a larger proportion of the Minter\u2019s Yield and Velocity Yield distribution before the system scales to a wider user base.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-does-the-kmp-benefit-all-kinesis-users\">How does the KMP benefit all Kinesis users?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The KMP plays a key role in expanding the Kinesis Monetary System, increasing transactional activity and, as a result, yields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-holder-s-yield\">The Holder\u2019s Yield<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With high volumes expected, the Kinesis Minting Programme could have a significant impact on the Holder\u2019s Yield.<strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Increased volume results in a larger share of fee revenue being distributed to those holding precious metals on the platform. The Holder\u2019s Yield is shared out, based on the amount of metal you hold, in relation to the overall market cap. As mint cycling encourages high-volume trading and fee generation, the KMP has the potential to enhance yields for everyone holding precious metals with Kinesis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-joining-the-kinesis-minting-programme\">Joining the Kinesis Minting Programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In phase 1, the KMP is open solely to long-term KVT holders and highly engaged Kinesis users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kinesis has structured the KMP to recognise and reward KVT holders for their foundational role in the growth of the Kinesis Monetary System. In this way, KVT owners have the early opportunity to maximise the potential of the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To reward long-term KVT holders the only requirement is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. <strong>KVT holders <\/strong>must have held 1 or more KVT for over a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those Kinesis users who<strong> have not<\/strong> held 1 or more KVT for over year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. <strong>Kinesis users<\/strong> must meet <strong>one<\/strong> of the following eligibility requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please note: these eligibility requirements must be met <\/em><strong><em>after March 4th 2025. <\/em><\/strong><em>Activity on the Kinesis platform before this date <\/em><strong><em>will not <\/em><\/strong><em>grant you access to the Kinesis Minting Programme.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Purchase 10 KVTs<\/strong> <strong>via the Kinesis Exchange <\/strong><em>(KVTs must be purchased directly on the Kinesis Exchange, remain in the Kinesis account and not be transferred to external wallets or received as deposits. Only direct purchases qualify. )<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sign up 10 individuals<\/strong> to the Kinesis ecosystem<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Onboard 3 businesses<\/strong> to utilise the Kinesis platform<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trade $500,000<\/strong> on the Kinesis Exchange<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spend $10,000<\/strong> in Metalback rewards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spend $10,000<\/strong> using the Kinesis Virtual Card<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These requirements ensure that participants actively contribute to the ecosystem, reinforcing the community-driven nature of Kinesis.
