{"id":163334,"date":"2025-06-05T12:43:54","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T12:43:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/?p=163334"},"modified":"2026-02-19T14:00:22","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T14:00:22","slug":"kvt-now-tradable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/de\/company-news\/kvt-now-tradable\/","title":{"rendered":"KVTs now tradable on the Kinesis platform"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In a significant milestone for Kinesis, the Kinesis Velocity Token (<a href=\"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/kvt\/\">KVT<\/a>) is now tradable on the Kinesis platform.<br><br>At the core of Kinesis\u2019 native asset suite, the KVT entitles holders access to a 20% proportionate share of global transaction fee revenue, paid monthly in gold (<a href=\"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/gold\/\">KAU<\/a>) and silver (<a href=\"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/silver\/\">KAG<\/a>) via the <a href=\"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/kvt-yield\/\">KVT Yield<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kinesis users across the globe, including the US, can now buy and sell KVT across four trading pairs, including Kinesis\u2019 native USD-backed stablecoin, Currency One USD (<a href=\"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/pro\/usd1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">USD1<\/a>):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>KVT\/USD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>KVT\/USD1&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>KVT\/KAU&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>KVT\/KAG&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>KVT trading is initially available via the web platform, with in-app trading to follow in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This follows a record KVT Yield monthly payout, with <strong>$2,287,222<\/strong> worth of gold and silver &#8211; <strong>21.48kg of gold <\/strong>and<strong> 446.76 oz of silver &#8211;<\/strong> distributed to KVT holders in the month of May alone. Last month, each KVT holder received<strong> $7.70 per KVT<\/strong>, paid in gold and silver. The May payout builds on two strong, consecutive months for KVT Yields with holders receiving $3.20 per KVT in March and $4.20 per KVT in April.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With KVT now actively trading, the price of the asset will be determined by the open market, as users buy and sell KVTs.<br><br>This represents another crucial stone laid in the foundations of the Kinesis Monetary System (KMS). With the largest fee-share of all Kinesis yields, the KVT Yield entitles holders to a 20% proportionate share of all transaction fees, paid in gold and silver.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KVT is limited to a maximum supply of 300,000 units, a legally and technically capped number that cannot be increased. This structural limit, creating a finite supply, preserves each KVT\u2019s proportionate share of the system\u2019s distribution pool. As the transactional volume grows, so too does the yield.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-kvt-on-stellar\">The KVT on Stellar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In preparation for today\u2019s launch, the Kinesis Velocity Token was <a href=\"https:\/\/kinesis.money\/company-news\/kvt-now-upgraded-to-stellar\/\">migrated to the Stellar network<\/a> in Q1, delivering speed, value, transferability and divisibility to the asset.<br><br>The KVT\u2019s divisibility allows users to acquire smaller amounts, building positions incrementally, or sell fractions of their holdings. Importantly, KVT holders will still receive the monthly KVT Yield on even a fraction of a KVT held. This flexibility supports broader participation, enhances liquidity, and enables entry at any scale.<br><br>Additionally, transactions are near-instantly and at low cost, making the asset easier to manage and more widely accessible.
